HardieWrap™ Flex Flashing

Green & Sustainable

Enabling green/sustainable projects across the nation.

Safe From Fire

See how James Hardie homes survived the San Diego fires.
HardieWrap™ Flex Flashing is designed to stretch and seal around custom shapes — including windows and doorsills — to prevent water and air from entering the home. HardieWrap Flex Flashing is made of butyl rubber adhesive with a creped cross-laminated polyolefin backing and polyethylene film release. It contains no asphalts, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) or solvents, which can reduce adhesion over time.

HardieWrap Flex Flashing comes in a convenient dispenser box for easy handling and has progressive adhesion for adjustments. After a 24-hour cure period, it provides a permanent seal and protects against water damage, mildew and energy loss. While HardieWrap Flex Flashing is designed to work with the HardieWrap™ weather barrier solution, it can be used under any siding.

Together, HardieWrap™ weather barrier, HardieWrap™ Flashing, HardieWrap™ Flex Flashing and HardieWrap™ Seam Tape work with the cladding to form an important part of a home's weather protection envelope to prevent water damage, mildew and energy loss.1
