In an effort to better align ourselves with Replacement Contractors in the industry, James Hardie has undergone a major transformation within the Repair and Replacement Segment. First and foremost, under the recommendation and advice of professional replacement contractors across the nation, James Hardie has re-crafted and launched a new Preferred Remodeler Program. Our goal in re-crafting the program is to create mutual value for our Program Participants and James Hardie through alignment on our Website, creating a competitive edge for our Contractors in the home via our Partnership, access to James Hardie Consultation Support, and Website Lead Generation.

As a Program Member, we will assist and support both you and your business development needs with a variety of tools and materials to help you successfully sell James Hardie® siding.

Replacement Contractor Program Requirements

  • Commitment to James Hardie Products & Brand
  • Single family residential replacement contractor - Primary business must be derived from Repair and Replacement work
  • Compliance with James Hardie Installation Best Practices
  • Professional Sales Approach
  • Committed to an advertising or Marketing plan I.E. radio, print, website, internet, etc.
  • 4 Years in business as the same company under the same name
  • Satisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau Or other accredited rating agency
  • Satisfactory Credit Report
  • State Licensed*
  • Fully Bonded*
  • Liability Insurance $1,000,000 per occurrence
  • Workman’s Compensations Insurance*
  • Satisfactory background check with 10 past customers
  • Does not participate in any other fiber-cement manufacturer's benefit, reward, credit or similar program for remodelers
  • Has the ability to electronically track leads
  • Has the ability to electronically measure customer satisfaction
